A car that had been involved in an alcohol related crash was on display at the mall behind the MADD booth.

MADD and SADD members worked to collect pledges from the mall shoppers that stated they would not drive after drinking alcohol.

MADD displayed photos of their loved ones who had been killed by drunk drivers.

The crash car was a very shocking exhibit of what can happen when people drink and drive.

Some of our models were members of SADD chapters.

This pink satin gown with beads was provided courtesy of Marshall Field’s.

93.1 DRQ’s Jason the 300lb Intern was the guest MC of the fashion show.

Jewelry for the girls was provided by Benson Diamond Jewelers. Model Kelly Ford showed her support for MADD by wearing one of their red ribbons on her wrist.

Local law enforcement officers were present to demonstrate to mall shoppers how alcohol can affect your vision, reaction time and perception.

When they attempt to walk a straight line with the “Fatal Vision Goggles” on, shoppers experience first hand how alcohol impairs your senses.

Our host, Westland Shopping Center, provided a wonderful setting for the fashion show.

Model Vesa Pallaska wore a stunning red satin, floor length dress that can be purchased from Marshall Field’s.

Hair and make up for the girls was provided by Marshall Field’s Premiere Salon and Spa.

Thanks to all of our sponsors and volunteers who made the first ever SEMCA Prom Fashion Show a big success! We hope that everyone will stay safe this prom season.
